I'm guest posting over at
My Own Road today as part of Jen's
Button Down Rehab, a two-week series sharing some great tutorials from several different bloggers who will be creating new things out of old button down shirts. Today I'm sharing a
bag made from shirt sleeves!
Cute, huh? Head on over to My Own Road for the
full tutorial.
Thanks for guest posting! Love the bag :)

ReplyDeleteHi Gwen, I was just over at My Own Road, I love your project. I would never have thought of using the sleeves to create a bag. I have refashioned many of my husband's shirts, but often the sleeves are left in the unused pile. This is perfect.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your tute and discovering you used the shape of the sleeve itself to create the bottom curve, AND used the hem of the sleeve as the top part of the bag - GENIUS! Jen in So Cal
ReplyDeletelove this particular shirt fabric! orange and plaid all in one. can't get much better than that, and it makes such a cute bag! Yay Gwen!

ReplyDeleteI love it when "scraps" turn into something amazing. Great job using the sleeves!!
