Just like my pillow, the pouch is inspired by these adorable little house pouches by A.casa.do.Guaxinim. As some of you know, my girls are Hello Kitty crazy, so this gave me a cute way to use some of my Hello Kitty fabric. My youngest tends to get the short end of the stick when it comes to my projects, so it was fun to sit down with her and let her choose the fabrics and the characters from the Hello Kitty fabric...
My youngest is also a big fan of cows. (Not the first time I've used this cow on a project :)
And a little apple tree completes the front...
The interior is lined with a yellow dragonfly print. I forgot to take a picture of the back, but it's a bubblegum pink with giant white polka dots.
My youngest loves it. It's pretty big (about 5.5" x 8"), so she fills it up with all kinds of stuff and totes it around. Happy girl, happy mama :)
I have a really neat giveaway for you on Monday. Enjoy the weekend!

What a sweet little pouch! Your daughter certainly has a good taste.
This is SO adorable!! I use to make felted dollhouses before I started sewing all the time and this reminds me so much of those! I really miss making them. :)
Adorable! I love this, Gwen!
Aw, she MUST love it! How could she not?
Oh. my. cuteness! I can see why she's so happy...and what a fun mama you are. :)
I really like this, who could not smile seeing it! Very cute!
Great stitching Gwen, loved how you used licensed fabric in such a modern way. We love Hello Kitty in this house and have a few yards in the stash and I am always looking out for inspiration on how to use it! Have a lovely fall weekend.
my little girl would love this too, she's in love with HK thanks to her aunt!
she was born on 2010 8th of May (here in Italy that's the Mom's day)
she couldn't choose a better day ^_^
a female and I hope someday a mom too
Gwen, your attention to detail is so amazing. The HK pouch could not be any cuter. I have some Moda American Jane fabric and that might work in a similar pouch for my granddaughter. I miss you and your blog.....but I'm so happy you get to spend more time with your family. I look forward to your giveaway on Monday. My best to you.
So super cute!! I'm sure she adores it. :) I have a 3 year old who might get one for Christmas. ;)
xoxo
This is absolutely darling Gwen!
So adorable Gwen!! I just love it. Makes me realize I need to do a little project or two with my boys. You are so good with your girls. Thinking about you tonight. I hope you are doing good.
