A ham and provolone panda sandwich, a sliced up cheese stick, mandarin oranges, baby carrots, and some ranch dressing for dipping. Total cuteness. I keep reading that bentos don't take any more time to put together than non-bento lunches. I can't say that I agree with that yet. Maybe when I get a little more practice it will go together more quickly for me. For now, I don't mind the extra time. It lets me have a little fun and puts a smile on my girl's face at lunchtime. I don't plan to go crazy and share bento lunches on the blog every day, but I will be posting some of the extra cute ones as I get more ideas and find more inspiration online :)
Hope everyone's school year is off to a good start!
too cute!! Can I ask where you found the panda cutter? My daughter is obsessed with all things panda & I'd love to find her one of these. Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Hard to resist all that cute bento stuff :)
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome! What a lucky girl to open a lunch box with that cuteness. You have me inspired. My daughters have hot lunch at school, but it doesn't start until midSeptember so I am looking for ideas. I hope your first grader's day went well and she loves her teacher.
ReplyDeleteI love it. My kids brown bag it- and they have to make it themselves. ;) What can I say- I'm a mean mom.
ReplyDeleteStill, I hope your sweet girl knows how much she is loved when she sees this and that she has a wonderful first grade year.
xoxo
